The Execution Loop

Every organization has a tendency to become chaotic in ways that threaten its survival. To bring order and consistency:

  1. Clarify intent
  2. Set clear expectations and tough goals
  3. Establish a process to reach them
  4. Execute the process
  5. Learn from the results

After you learn from the results, you begin again.

While you're executing these five steps, you'll also want to evaluate your process. Measure how fast you're executing. Find the bottlenecks. Eliminate them.
